World Vision presents THE STORY Tour, a Christmas spectacular featuring many of your favorite Christmas carols as well as THE STORY, a musical journey from Genesis to Revelation. Featuring Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Francesca Battistelli, Natalie Grant, Selah, and Anthem Lights with special guests Max Lucado and Randy Frazee. This tour is based on "The Story" series that we studies last year as a church. Harvest Food Drive

The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is experiencing its greatest food shortage in 22 years. Sunday, November 6, and Sunday, November 13, we are having a Harvest Food Drive to help supply the Garnett Food Pantry with protein–tuna, canned chicken, soups, etc.–for our friends in need. Beginning Sunday, November 6, we will have containers in the mall before and after worship to collect these items. View the original event

the MANAbago is coming!

We are really excited to have the MANAbago stop by Garnett on their way across the country spreading the great word about MANA.

MANA is RUTF (Ready to Use Therapeutic Food), and it's been designed specifically to treat kids diagnosed with severe acute malnutrition (SAM). RUTF can be broadly defined as peanut butter mixed with fortified milk in an over-sized ketchup packet.

Come join us for the first class – FREE.
 
This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This information is proven and rooted in biblical principle. A few of the topics include how to manage assets while ridding ourselves from the shackles of debt; how to budget; how to purchase and how to invest; how to manage real estate and mortgage decisions as well as planning for college tuitions.

Filipino Dinner & Silent Auction

Fall Retreat at New Life Ranch
Mark your calendars for October 14-16th for our all-church retreat at New Life Ranch in Colcord, OK. Everyone is invited, young and old alike. We’ll have worship, fellowship, food, campfires and a plethora of fun activities for everyone. We want to take time away as a church family, to grow closer to God & each other. This retreat takes the place of smaller group-specific retreats like Students, or Men’s and Women’s, but retains special scheduled times with just those groups as well.
