Happy Holidays Open House Garnett Church of Christ and the Green Country Event Center will be hosting a Holiday Open House in the Mall. Stop by and join us for some coffee, cookies, and conversation! This would be a great time for you to meet some of the other people who share our building.

Christmas Eve Service December 24, 6-7 pm Plan ahead for this year’s “Bring Your Gift to Jesus” candlelight Christmas Eve service. If you have a gift of music, poetry, scripture reading or storytelling, prepare your “gift” and share it with us on Christmas Eve. If performing isn’t one of your gifts, bring cookies or hot cider to share after the service. Start preparing now and watch for sign-ups coming soon.

Contact Christmas Store Bring Toys and Gifts for the Contact Christmas Store. Purchase items in value from $8-25. Students in Santa hats will be collecting gifts over the next 2 Sundays. Leave the price tag on the gift and we’ll donate to the Contact Christmas Store where families will get to purchase gifts for their children at 75% off the tagged price. (If your gift doesn’t have a price tag, tape the price you paid onto the box.) Let’s rally to help others have a blessed and Spirit-filled Christmas!

Apostle Build The Dedication is scheduled for this afternoon, Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. You are invited to come and be a part of this great day! The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes.

Ladies’ Ornament Exchange The Ladies’ Ornament Exchange will be December 13 in Phillips Hall following services. There will be someone in the mall to take reservations through December 6. Also, stop by to pull a name out of the basket to see who you’ll be purchasing an ornament for. Lunch will be catered by Chef Roy. Cost for the lunch is $10. Garnett Kids’ Christmas Chorus The Garnett Kids’ Christmas Chorus includes 1st through 6th grades and will meet each Sunday during worship time, 10 am, in the Children’s Worship room.
