On Thursday, November 12th, Rachelle Hudson was killed in a car accident. She was the mother of Jacob Grodin, one of the boys in Ms. Lore’s class at the Garnett Bilingual Preschool. Jacob’s family is struggling with this tragedy. He has not yet returned to class, but his family plans for him to continue attending the preschool. During this dark time, there is a way that we would like to help this family. We have started a Scholarship Fund for Jacob to help pay for his tuition. Currently the family pays $240 each month. We are asking you to help us to provide this gift for Jacob. Involvement is optional only. Families are free to choose not to participate. For those who can give, we welcome any amount of money that you can afford, whether it is $5, $20, or $200! Please make checks payable to Garnett Church of Christ with “Jacob Grodin Scholarship” on the memo line in order to receive a tax write-off receipt.
