Living Christ 38: Greg Taylor
Vision Casting Part 2: Re-calibrating to God’s Heart
God’s Kingdom is converging or breaking in on us.
What breaks God’s heart?
What honors God’s heart?
“You have to show why ‘here’ breaks the heart of God, before you try to sell people on how wonderful ‘there’ is.”–Bill Hybels, Willow Creek Community Church
Re-calibrating our hearts to break for what breaks God’s heart and to beat to the rhythm of what honors and cheers God’s heart.

What are we called to do now?
Daughters of Anna Luncheon
The July Daughters of Anna Luncheon will be held Sunday 7/15 after classes in the Great Room. All women attending services alone are invited to attend.
Center for Christian Living
A new class is about to be launched in Garnett’s Center for Christian Living. “Building/Developing A Healthier Church” will begin this Wednesday, July 18, at 6:30 pm. The class will be conducted each Wednesday in room 201 and will end by no later than 7:45 pm each week. Bill Campbell will be the teacher for this six-week study. No textbook will be required for you to purchase, but Bill’s book, The Magnificent Church, may be purchased, which will provide additional insight and reflection. Email Bill and let him know that you will be participating in the study. Nursery and childcare will be provided.
Week six in the Center’s daytime study, The Magnificent Life, will meet this Tuesday, July 17, from 1:30 until 3 pm. We will consider together the chapter, Dynamic Principles for Turbulent Times. You are encouraged to join us for reflection and discussion on this chapter.
On Tuesday, July 31, a new daytime study will begin from 1:30 until 3 pm in Garnett’s Center for Christian Living. Entitled Focusing on Fundamentals, the class will be a thirteen-week discussion of First, Second and Third John. Bill Campbell will lead this new offering. Email Bill and let him know you will plan to be a participant in this new study at the Center for Christian Living. A study guide will be made available to participants.

Uganda Team Updated!
We will have a table in Cafe Mosaic before and after service for the next few Sundays in July. Stop by and see us! Ask us questions about why we are taking this trip and how you can join our team by supporting us in prayer and with our trip costs. Team members are: Ben and Beth West, Jeff and Teresa McIlroy, Lance Newsom, Jessica Booker, Kim Pitts and Mike Davis.
We will be having a yard sale on August 11 here at Garnett to raise money for our trip. You can bring us things you’d like to donate and we will use all the proceeds for our trip. We will be accepting donations from now until then in Cafe Mosaic.
FURNITURE Outreach Request from International Community Outreach (aka Int’l Student Ministries at TU) August 18 is Furniture Fest Day at TU as a Christian blessing to incoming international students, of which the vast majority are not from Christian backgrounds. Last year, TU had around 1,000 students from other countries. Clearly Father God is bringing the nations to our very doorstep. Many Christ-centered friendships are forged during Furniture Fest that last into their years on campus. Furniture donations and volunteers are an essential part of that connection.
Your furniture can be a blessing to incoming international students at TU through the Furniture Fest. Used furniture (beds, chairs, desks etc) suitable for apartments will be picked up each week on SATURDAYS beginning July 21 – August 11. Contact Alan: pianomanhill{at}gmail.com 918-406-642five or Terry: terryligon{at}gmail.com 918-504-348n ine. Gifts are tax deductible. Thanks!
